21" (53 cm.) Bisque socket head, painted blue eyes with intaglio detail, black upper eyeliner with fringed detail, short feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, row of tiny sculpted teeth, outlined lips, blonde mohair wig over plaster pate, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent, original body finish. Marks: 181 (head) Germany (body). Comments: Kestner, from their 180 art character series, circa 1910. Value Points: bright-eyed character with very choice bisque and sculpting, wonderful antique costume including unusual shoes.
