Description
21" (53 cm.) Bisque socket head, painted brown eyes with intaglio details, black upper eyeliner, arched feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, two painted teeth, shaded lips with decorative glaze, blonde mohair wig over plaster pate, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, wonderful antique condition. Condition: generally excellent, one finger tip chipped. Comments: Kestner, circa 1910, the model 181 from the 180 character series. Value Points: especially fine luminous bisque, original body and body finish, an unusually large size for this model.
