Marks: Effanbee American Children (head) Effanbee Anne-Shirley (body). Comments: Effanbee series of dolls portraying typical American children,a commission design by Dewees Cochran,circa 1940. Value Points: very beautiful doll with wonderfully-preserved original finish,rare to find.
