15" (38 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged
bisque shoulder plate,blue glass enamel inset eyes
with darker blue iris rims,dark
eyeliner,delicately-painted lashes,feathered
brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth with accented
lips,pierced ears,blonde mohair wig in original
coiffure with interwoven burgundy silk ribbons,kid
gusset-jointed body,stitched and separated
fingers. Condition: doll is excellent with
especially sturdy and clean body,costume is frail.
Marks: 2 (head and shoulder plate). Comments:
attributed to Jumeau,circa 1875. Value Points: the
beautiful poupee with finest bisque is wearing her
original silk ensemble with intricate and tasteful
construction details,undergarments,ribbons in
original wig to match the costume,dainty leather
shoes.
