6 1/2" (17 cm.) Bisque socket head with nearly
solid dome,large dark brown glass inset
eyes,painted lashes,feathered brows,accented
nostrils,very slightly-parted downcast lips,tiny
porcelain teeth,brunette mohair wig,composition
fully-jointed body. Condition: generally
excellent. Marks: (illegible numbers,including
77). Comments: attributed to Kling,circa 1885.
Value Points: especially beautiful face with
finest bisque and painting,original body and body
finish,wearing antique dotted-Swiss
dress,undergarments,purple velvet cape with lace
edging,tiny heeled leather shoes,bonnet,and owning
a white fur-covered paper mache dog with glass eyes.
