Bisque socket head,large blue glass sleep eyes,dark eyeliner,painted curly lashes,incised eyeliner,thick brush-stroked and feathered brows,accented eye corners,shaded nostrils,open mouth,outlined lips,two porcelain upper teeth,dimpled chin and lip corners,blonde mohair wig with soft ringlet curls,composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K made in Germany 143 14 1/2 (head) Germany (body). Comments: Kestner,circa 1912. Value Points: rare larger size of the wonderfully-modeled child with finest quality bisque and painting,original body and body finish,wonderful wig,fine antique white cotton dress with cutwork and Bertha collar,undergarments,stockings,shoes,and ruffled lace bonnet.
