basket with bail handleand legs that arewrapped in
woven straw has lacelining in thebasket and
thelower shelf,and rosesilk ribbon trim.
Insidethebasket is a littlebisquedoll,probably
Simon and Halbig,with blueglass eyes,open
mouth,superb waist-length blondemohair
wig,five-piecepaper machebody,wearing original
silk bonnet that matches her silk dress whoseskirt
extends and forms into a pin cover. Excellent
condition. Circa 1900,a wonderful accessory for
display with dolls about 23"-27".
