Description
5"(13 cm.) Of thick carton,the drum has original
cord straps,and is decorated with borders of the
Napoleonic royal bee,French flag with letter "N"in
gold lettering,with lettered date 1805. The lid
removes from the drum to reveal paper-lined
interior,indicating its original purpose as candy
container. A very rare early piece with historical
references. Good condition. French,early/mid 19th
century.
