Description
28" (71 cm.) h. x 35"w. x 20"d. The wooden-framed
kitchen with angled side-walls and arched back has
built-in faux-chimney with two rows of shelving
upon it,and two rows of shelving encircling the
walls; the shelves with original wooden rods
designed to hold the tankards in place. Matching
blue painted cupboard,table,bench and chicken coop
furnish the room as well as hanging utencil racks.
The kitchen is equipped with grand bounty of
dishes,utensil,pots and pans,including nearly 50
pewter pieces comprising plates,tankards,and
sewing dishes; numerous copper-ware pots of all
types,brown glazed stone-wear jugs,tin ware
including oil lamp and screened pie cover,woven
basket of pewter plates,glazed stoneware,coffee
grinder,hanging racks of tools,slaw cutters,oven
trivet,and much more. A small early porcelain doll
in original chimney sweep costume stands in the
room. Germany,early Nuremberg kitchen,circa 1820
in original condition with original (albeit worn)
painted finishes,original furnishings in
