29" (74 cm.) Felt swivel head with elongated
strong throat,head positioned to look
sideways,strongly-modeled facial features,brown
side-glancing eyes with black upper eyeliner and
curly lashes,fringed brows,accented
nostrils,closed mouth with beaming smile and row
of painted teeth,stitched ears,black mohair wig
with coiled braid decorated with a cluster of felt
flowers and a wooden decorative comb with painted
designs,very slender elongated body with jointing
at shoulders,hips and knees,modeled bent
elbows,finger posed to hold guitar. Condition:
generally excellent. Comments: Lenci,circa 1925
from her salon series which featured several
models of Spanish ladies. Value Points:
exceptionally well-preserved condition of the rare
early doll,with vibrant and fresh colors preserved
on costume,enhanced with embroidery applique,with
