18" (46 cm.) Bisque socket head, painted brown eyes with white eyedots, red and black upper eyeliner with short fringed lashes, short feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth modeled with detail of sculpted teeth and tongue, blonde mohair wig over plaster pate, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique schoolgirl costume. Condition: generally excellent, original body and body finish. Marks: 186 (head) Germany (body). Comments: Kestner, circa 1910. Value Points: especially fine bisque, complexion and painting of features enhanced by impressed cheek dimples.
