11"(28 cm.) elephant with trunk extended. Each is carved wood with jointed limbs,painted eyes and original painted finish with details; including rhinoceros with painted black spots,open moutn,rope tail,leather ears,swivel head,and carved horn; elephant with swivel head,swivel trunk with spout tip,leather tusks and ears,rope tail,and original purple felt blanket with designs and fringe; giraffe with painted brown spots,leather ears,wooden horns,rope tail (some retouch to legs); and hyena with open mouth,painted stripes,rope tail,one leather ear. All very good to excellent condition,some few paint flakes or rubs. Schoenhut,circa 1920.
