glass paperweight eyes,thick dark eyeliner,dark
lushly-painted lashes,incised
eyeliner,widely-arched brush-stroked brows with
decorative glaze,accented eye corners,shaded
nostrils,closed mouth,defined space between the
richly-shaded and outlined lips,dimpled
chin,pierced ears,brunette mohair wig over cork
pate,French composition and wooden fully-jointed
body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: F. G.
(in scroll) 10. Comments: Gaultier Freres,circa
1888. Value Points: compelling deep blue eyes are
enhanced by dramatic painting of lashes and
brows,and complementary blush on eyelids,ear
lobs,chin,and cheeks,fine gleaming patina of
complexion,original body and body finish,and very
beautiful antique costume and bonnet.
