12"(30 cm.) armor. 20"l. sword. The tinplate toy
set was offered in Parisian department store
Etrennes catalogs,and includes brushed tin chest
armor with center medallion and leather straps,tin
helmet with pressed brass head-piece and
decorative bands,red feather and horse tail
tassel,and toy sword with scabbard and fine
leather harness with lion's head brass figurals.
Excellent quality and condition. French,circa 1885.
