eyeliner,painted lashes,feathered brows,accented
nostrils,closed mouth with accented lips,unpierced
ears,blondemohair wig over cork pate,kid
poupeebody with shapely torso,gusset-jointed
hips,kid-over-wooden upper arms,bisqueforearms.
Condition: generally excellent,body very
sturdy,two broken fingers. Marks: G. 4 P.
Comments: French,circa 1860,theinitials G.P.
remains a mystery maker (seealso theblack
complexioned poupee,#35,this catalog) although
thequality of thedolls bearing this
signatureindicatea luxury establishment.
