4 1/2" (11 cm.) -5 1.2",Each is sterling or
richly-plated rattle with whistle tip and having
mother-of-pearl or bone handle,including silver
orb with four bells and the raised words "Dieu
vous garde" (may God protect you),another with
beautiful petal design,all with tinkling silver
bells that encircle the rattle center. Mid/late
19th century,presented in a velvet-lined display
box. Excellent condition.
