7" (18 cm.) Thefirm-sided trunk with brown leather
cover is framed with brass corner mounts and
slats,and tiny brass nails,and has two leather
binding straps,brass clasp and bail handles.
Theinterior is lined with luxury paper,indicating
its original useas a bon-bon box. Perfectly sized
for display with small bebeabout 13"-16" or with
poupeeabout 17"-19". Excellent condition.
French,circa 1880,very fineluxury quality.
