Description
31" (79 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, rose blushed eye shadow, brushstroked and feathered brows, shaded eye corners and nostrils, closed mouth with very full shaded and outlined lips, separately-modeled pierced eras, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Depose Tete Jumeau Bte SGDG 14 (head) Jumeau Medaille d'Or Paris (body). Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1886. Value Points: lovely brown-eyed bebe with fine complexion and painting, original body and body finish, lovely antique costume.
