lady doll. Of a crisp silk in changeable-color
green,the two-piece gown features a fitted bodice
decorated by bands of sewn-down pleats at the
bodice,neckline and edging the bodice hem,with
green silk ribbons on the 3/4 sleeves; with very
full three-tiered skirt with sewn-down pleats
edging each tier; the lower tier is designed to be
used extended for a taller and slimmer doll,while
draping the tier allows for its use on the 16"
doll. A very beautifully made gown with exquisite
detail and perfectly preserved. French,circa 1865.
