Description
10" (25 cm.) A firm-sided doll trunk with domed
lid has green velvet cover that is enhanced with
embossed gilt metal edging,and Art
Nouveau-stylemounts at each corner,with an enamel
butterfly at thecenter lid. Thetrunk hinges open
to paper lined interior with lift-out tray.
Thetrunk has its original locking key,and a second
key for winding thehidden music box which,when
wound and lid lifted,plays two merry tunes. Very
good condition,thevelvet finish somewhat
worn,music box functions well. Rare,French,circa 1890.
