A splendid fabric of rich silk velvet in a vibrant color of purplewith printed floral design forms a two-piecedress with pleated bodice,very full sleeves with fitted cuffs,ruffled lacebretelles and laceneck ruffle,purplesilk ribbons at thethroat,and a flared flat-front skirt with gathers at theback. Excellent condition. French,circa 1890.
