14"(36 cm.) 29"l. x 13"d. A wooden-framed one-room grocery with Art Nouveau style cornices and trim,has original cream and green painted finish with gilt accents,very fancy cornice with centering faux-clock,an attached shelf on each side wall and 16 spice cabinets on the back wall that center a working back door and two corner niches. There is a matching free-standing counter with gilt medallion that supports an early tin scale,and the store is fitted with antique cans,stoneware wine bottles,wooden ware,and wonderful original wrapped bolts of cotton fabric on the side walls. Excellent original condition with original floor and wall finish (clock face a bit faded). Germany,marked 3124 on the underside,Moritz Gottschalk,circa 1900. Ex-collection Landsberg Dollhouse Museum.
