13" (33 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head with
painted tan baby hair,intaglio blue eyes with
large black pupils,black upper eyeliner,short
stroke brows,accented eye corners,button-shaped
tiny nose,closed mouth with outlined lips,sculpted
tongue tip,stuck-out ears,composition and wooden
ball-jointed toddler body with side-hip jointing.
Condition: generally excellent. Marks: G.B. 250 A
1 M Germany DRGM 248/1. Comments: Marseille,circa
1920,under special commission for Borgfeldt. Value
Points: wonderfully-characterized face with fine
sculpting and painting,original body and body
finish,on the rare-to-find model.
