Description
19"(48 cm.) Of paper mache,the well-sculpted
French bull dog with defined ribbing and muscles
has flocked coat,black ears and eye
outlines,freckled nose,glass eyes,hinged jaw with
ferociously-painted teeth,hidden wheels under his
feet,and a nodding head whose neck is hidden by a
ruff and leather collar. The bull dog has an
attached chain which,when pulled,causes him to
growl. Excellent condition. French,circa 1890.
