in short bobbed fashion,with bangs,intaglio blue
eyes with large black pupils,black and incised
upper eyeliner,accented eye corners and nostrils
of rounded nose,closed mouth modeled as though
open with shaded and accented lips,composition
baby body with jointing at shoulders and
hips,wearing pretty antique
dress,undergarments,shoes,stockings. Condition:
nickel-sized break and reglue at base of neck
socket,two other small chips low on neck
socket,otherwise excellent. Marks: 9570 8 (head)
Made in Germany (torso). Comments: Gebruder
Heubach,circa 1912. Value Points: a rare model
with very expressive features,beautiful complexion
and painting,original body finish,wonderful costume.
