oil-painted facial features,brown painted eyes
with spiral details,white eyedots,strong painted
brown and black upper eyeliner,small nose,closed
mouth with pouting expression,painted light brown
hair with unusual detail of curls onto
forehead,blushed ears,stitch-jointed
arms,disc-jointed plump legs,cotton print
dress,undies,socks,shoes. Condition: generally
excellent. Marks: Kathe Kruse 1266 Germany (feet).
Comments: Kathe Kruse,early model of the Type I
series,circa 1913. Value Points: most appealing
child with finely-preserved original
finish,wonderful and unusual dainty curls onto
forehead.
