17"(43 cm.) All-cloth doll with pressed and
oil-painted facial features,blue downcast eyes
with prominent pupils and white eyedots,black and
brown upper eyeliner,accented nostrils,closed
mouth with downcast pouting lips,painted brown
hair with forehead swirl of curls,blushed
ears,stitch-jointed arms,separately-stitched
thumb,disc-jointed very plump legs,knit sweater
and pants,socks,leather shoes. Condition:
generally excellent. Marks: Kathe Kruse 1131

I,circa 1915. Value Points: the artistic painting
of the young boy's features is superb,and enhanced
by his very fine original state of
preservation,wonderful costume,little toy dog.
