Description
8" (20 cm.) Each has felt head with pressed and painted facial features,painted googly-like eyes,long curly lashes,rounded nose,closed mouth with pouty lips,accented lower lip,five piece body. Condition: near mint. Marks: (girl has three original paper and cloth tags,one indicating her costume as "Bretagne". Comments: Lenci,circa 1930. Value Points: preserved in wonderful original condition with vibrant colors,including blonde girl with felt costume and blue silk embroidered apron,carrying basket of felt flowers; and boy with costume of Italian Alps,with wonderful feathered hat and carrying yellow wooden horn.
