All-composition with socket head,blue sleep eyes,lashes,painted lower lashes,dark eye shadow,single stroke brows,closed mouth,blonde hair in elaborate original coiffure with braided coronet and side braids accented with blue flowers,five piece composition body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Alexander (doll). Comments: Alexander,"Karen Ballerina",circa 1948. Value Points: pristine condition with fine luminous complexion,perfectly-kept elaborate coiffure,and wearing her original blue tutu with gilt metallic braid,black velvet ribbons,and flower trim,blue satin panties,shoes.
