15" (38 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate,blue glass enamel inset eyes,painted lashes,dark eyeliner,feathered brows,accented nostrils,slightly-parted lips with double row of porcelain teeth,pierced ears,blonde mohair wig over cork pate,kid-over-wooden upper torso,metal upper arms with shoulder jointing,bisque forearms and hands,carton floor-length skirt that encloses the waltzing mechanism,wheeled base. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Jules Steiner,his early deposed model,when wound,the lady glides and twirls in a waltz-like and elegant manner,circa 1865. Value Points: very beautiful face on the rare early deposed poupee,mechanism functions well,wearing beautiful antique lace gown and coronet of silk flowers.
