Description
37" (94 cm.) A paper mache donkey with painted
hide,harness,eyes,saddle,and with wonderful
expression and ears,is standing upon a wooden
platform with wooden wheels,designed to pull along
or ride upon. The donkey is hollow and
lightweight,and of a size to suggest its original
purpose may have been as a store display.
Preserved in fine original condition. French,circa
1890.
