19" (48 cm.) Felt swivel head with pressed facial features,brown glass googly eyes with grey eye shadow and dramatic long curly painted brown lashes,slightly-modeled brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth with "O" shaped lips,blonde mohair wig,jointing at shoulders and hips,thumb and index finger sewn to hold parasol. Condition: generally excellent except hair a bit mussed. some spotting on far left cheek. Comments: Lenci,circa 1938,from their glass-eyed googly series. Value Point: wonderful expression on the wide-eyed doll,wearing her original blue and white organdy plaid gown with white ruffled trim,felt flowers at the waist and hair,organdy petticoat,pantalets,blue felt shoes,parasol.
