2.3" (6 cm.) Each of fineivory silk satin with
hand-stitching,and each having soft tan leather
undersoles with darker tan outline(in theHuret
style),and littlewooden heels. Including 2 1/4"
pair with silver buckleaccent,incised "4" and "T".
Along with a 2" narrower pair (trim
lacking),incised "1" and "T". Thesignificanceof
theletter "T" is a mystery. French,circa
1865,rareand beautifully madeshoes.
