Description
44"x 17"h. x 18"d tent,and each side panel 18"h. x
42". Of sturdy muslin with vibrant lithographed
designs portraying a circus side show along with
the circus seats filled with enthusiastic audience
of men,women and children. The center tent has red
and white striped awning with fold-down curtain at
the front,and words "Humpty Dumpty Circus"showing
when the curtain is opened. The center tent is
attached to its original base,has (frail) flying
American flags above,and the a gilded animal
performing cage is included (not shown). The two
side shown panels are assembled on original blue
wooden frames and offer a bounty of spectacles
including The Only Bearded Lady on Earth,The Wild
Man of Borneo,Siamese Twins Real Freak of
Nature,Snake Charmer,Living Skeleton and More,each
presented in vibrant and colorful scenes,with
ticket windows at each side. The tents are
preserved in exceptionally fine condition with
brilliant and fresh colors. Schoenhut,circa
1925,an extremely rare and prized Schoenhut circus
accessory. Note: included are dappled
horse,donkey,four chairs,acrobat lady,and wire
flexible cage. Other animals shown are sold
separately.
