Solid domed bisque head with flat-cut neck socket,rounded facial shape,brown glass inset eyes,painted lashes,brush-stroked and feathered brows,accented nostrils,open mouth,two rows of porcelain teeth,blonde mohair wig,carton torso with clockwork mechanism,kid-over-metal hinged upper legs,composition arms and lower legs. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Jules Steiner,his Bebe Gigoteur deposed model,circa 1885. Value Points: appealing petite size,fine antique costume,mechanism functions well allowing the doll to cry "mama" and wave limbs in a babylike fashion.
