14" (36 cm.) Solid domed bisque head with rich
brown complexion,sculpted short curly black
hair,flanged neck,painted facial features,brown
upper glancing eyes,accented nostrils,plump
cheeks,closed mouth with full cheeks,on original
body with wooden bellows torso,wire upper arms and
legs,wooden lower arms and legs,painted stockings
and shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks:
7012 (paper label,appears to be original factory
inventory). Comments: Circa 1890,when stomach is
squeezed,the man claps his hands together,ringing
the cymbals he is holding. Value Points: in fine
original condition,with rare character features
and fine flawless complexion,the doll is wearing
his original (frail) silk theatrical costume.
