side-glancing googly eyes,dark eyeliner,painted
long upper lashes,brush-stroked angled brows with
ochre shading,rounded nose with accent dots,closed
mouth with watermelon-slice-shaped smile,blonde
mohair curly wig,composition and wooden
ball-jointed toddler body,antique woolen sailor
costume. Condition: generally excellent,eyes set.
Marks: A made in Germany 5 JDK 221 Ges Gesch.
Comments: Kestner,circa 1912,their signature
googly inspired by Rose O'Neill's Kewpie model
which they also produced under commission from
Borgfeldt. Value Points: rare size of the most
desired googly,with wonderful quality of bisque
