15" (38 cm.) Bisque socket head, tiny blue glass sleep eyes, painted curly lashes, lightly-feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with accent line between the outlined lips, brunette human hair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 128 5. Comments: attributed to Simon and Halbig, circa 1910, from their rare art character doll series; few examples of the model are known to exist. Value Points: very rare model with choice bisque and sculpting details such as dimpled chin, with original factory costume and bonnet, undergarments, shoes.
