pear-shaped face and very full cheeks,brown enamel
inset eyes enhanced by thick dark eyeliner,painted
curly lashes,mauve-blushed eye
shadow,brush-stroked and feathered brows,accented
nostrils,closed mouth with outlined lips,pierced
ears,blonde mohair wig,French composition and
wooden eight-loose-ball-jointed body with straight
wrists,curled fingers,and flat-cut derriere,pretty
antique costume,bonnet,undergarments,stockings,and
shoes. Marks: Sch (shield on head and body) 00
(head). Comments: Schmitt et Fils,circa 1884.
Value Points: especially beautiful bebe with
wonderfully-modeled face whose gentle expression
is balanced by rich eye decoration,original body
and body finish.
