Description
8" (20 cm.) A white-fur-covered papier-mache bunny
is hiding inside a papier-mache container in the
shape of a cauliflower with colorful fabric leaves
and cotton cauliflower florets forming a lid. The
bunny has amber glass eyes, hinged ears and
mouth, and when the automaton is wound,he slowly
arises from his hidey-place in the
cauliflower, pushing the lid open, twirls about as
though checking for danger, while his ears and
mouth twitch, and music plays. Condition: generally
excellent,mechanism and music function well.
Comments: Descamps, circa 1920. Value Points: an
unusual variation of the bunny in the cabbage
theme,with amusing action.
