Description
18" (46 cm.) A bisque-head girl with splendid blue
glass paperweight eyes,lushly-painted lashes and
brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,closed
mouth,pierced ears,blonde mohair wig with original
braids and curls,carton torso,hinged hips,wire
upper arms,composition hands,antique costume of
patterned silk satin,lace-edged
velvet,undergarments,knit stockings,maroon satin
shoes,is daintily-seated with crossed legs on a
fine gold-leaf decorated spindle chair,her
knitting in her hands; the vignette arranged on a
velvet-covered flat base. When wound,music plays
and the girl nods her head forward and back as
though examining her knitting,while her hands and
forearms twist to and fro in a realistic knitting
movement. Condition: generally excellent,movement
and music function well. Marks: Depose Tete Jumeau
