16" (41 cm.) Pink-tinted porcelain shoulder plate
with plump facial shape,cobalt blue glass enamel
eyes,dark eyeliner,painted lashes,feathered
brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth with accented
lips,brunette mohair wig over cork pate,kid poupee
body with shapely torso and legs,stitched and
separated fingers,wearing lovely satin dress with
lace and silk ribbon trim,undergarments,wonderful
antique boots with leather heels,wide-brimmed
woven bonnet. Condition: generally excellent.
Marks: Brevete SGDG (green stamp in oval frame on
torso). Comments: attributed to Blampoix,the
brevete signature mark referencing his 1855 depose
for enamel eyes,circa 1858. Value Points:
especially beautiful early poupee with very sturdy
signed body,lovely tinted complexion,cobalt eyes.
