Description
20" (51 cm.) Resting upon a wooden ebony-finished
base is an elaborate gilt ormolu arrangement of
wedding symbols such as love birds,centering a
maroon velvet cushion with gilt metallic braid and
tassels and surmounted by a wide ivory satin
wedding ribbon. Hidden in the base is a music box
which is activated by a pull-string at the side.
Excellent condition. French,circa 1890,an very
melodious rich-sound music box adds to the luxury
detail of the wedding memory.
