brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth with very
full pouting lips,brunette human hair hand-tied
wig,composition and wooden ball-jointed
body,wearing antique school
dress,pinafore,undergarments,stockings,black laced
shoes,woven bonnet. Condition: generally
excellent. Marks: K*R 114 49. Comments: Kammer
and Reinhardt,circa 1912,the glass-eyed variation
of their art character Gretchen. Value Points:
rare model with deeply-defined characterization
especially around eyes and nose,enhanced by fine
dewy patina,decorative glaze on lips,original body
finish.
