18" (46 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, blue glass paperweight inset eyes with spiral threading, dark painted lashes, rose blushed eye shadow, brushstroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, heart-shaped upper lip with upturned lip corners, shaded and accented lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French kid bebe body with gusset-jointing at hips and knees, bisque forearms, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent, body is Bru from 1880 era. Marks: Bru Jne 7 (head). Comments: Bru, circa 1888 head, late Chevrot era of the Bru firm, on 1880 era Bru body. Value Points: dramatic facial painting with beautiful bisque, early Bru body with perfect hands.
