18" (46 cm.) Bisque socket head,small brown glass
sleep eyes,dark upper eyeliner and thickly-fringed
short lashes,incised eyeliner,one-stroke tapered
brows,closed mouth with shaded glazed
lips,brunette mohair bobbed wig,composition and
wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally
excellent. Marks: K*R 101 46. Comments: Kammer
and Reinhardt,circa 1912,the rare glass-eyed
version of their early art character Marie. Value
Points: rare model with wonderful sculpting
enhanced by fine matte bisque and decorative glaze
on very full pouting lips,fine antique costume.
