19" (48 cm.) Sculpted magnesit head with
oil-painted hair and facial features,brown baby
hair and brows,eyes modeled as though shut with
painted lashes,closed mouth,cloth ring
neck,heavily-weighted stockinette body with
stitch-jointing at shoulders and loosely-attached
legs to achieve infant-like body pose,antique baby
gown with red knit stockings. Condition: generally
excellent. Marks: KK 2077 (?) (foot). Comments:
Kathe Kruse,circa 1935,the "Traumerchen" model.
Value Points: fine original condition of the "real
weight" infant baby.
