Description
18" (46 cm.) Felt swivel head with pressed and
painted facial features,pale blue side-glancing
eyes,grey eye shadow,painted curly lashes,closed
mouth,blonde mohair wig,jointing at shoulders and
hips. Condition: very good,some red felt coloring
running onto organdy. Marks: Lenci (feet).
Comments: Lenci,circa 1940,the later-issue taller
300 model,marketed as BH 55,with original organdy
costume trimmed with red felt in a window-pane
design,felt rose at her waist and around the skirt
ruffles,red felt feathered sun bonnet,two
petticoats (one with hoop) and pantalets of
ruffled-edge organdy,red felt shoes,pearls,lace
fingerless gloves. Value Points: pretty girl in
elaborate costume.
