17" (43 cm.) All-cloth doll with pressed and
oil-painted facial features,tan hair with forelock
defined curl,brown painted eyes with brown and
black upper eyeliner,accented nostrils,closed
mouth,stitch-jointed arms,separate
thumbs,disc-jointed legs,wearing antique costume
comprising patterned flannel petticoat,pants,blue
woolen skirt,pinafore,embroidered blouse,cap,red
woolen leggings,black felt shoes,with basket of
goodies. Condition: very good,some facial rubs.
Marks: 2677/0 (foot). Comments: Kathe Kruse,circa
1915,Type 1. Value Points: charming character with
wistful expression and antique costume.
