Description
6" (15 cm.) Porcelain half doll of adult lady with
her head tilted slightly-sideways,long grey
sculpted curls onto her shoulders and captured
under a Charlotte cap with ruffled brim,sculpted
brown and yellow blouse,her arms extended and
holding a tray with cup,saucer,and tray.
Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 9190.
Comments: Germany,circa 1910,the model is known as
Baker's Cocoa Lady referencing the design on the
tin containers of that chocolate. Value points:
beautiful detail of sculpting and painting
including her gentle smile.
